Thousands of doctors at German university hospitals go on warning strike. Doctors are demanding a 12.5% salary increase and higher allowances during normal working hours on nights, weekends and public holidays.
Previously, the fourth round of labor negotiations between unions and state employers failed. The next round of negotiations is scheduled for March 25.
