The World Health Organization calls for the rescue of 9,000 critically ill patients in Gaza. There were 36 hospitals in the Gaza Strip before the start of the Israeli war.
With only 10 minimally functioning hospitals throughout Gaza, thousands of patients are still deprived of health care. Israel has been waging a devastating war on theGaza Strip for about 6 months, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, amid international organizations’ condemnation of the occupation army’s targeting of hospitals.
