The Valencian Community, Murcia and Andalusia demand that Ribera reach a consensus and guarantee the future of the Tajo-Segura transfer. They do not trust that the Ministry of Ecological Transition will repeat last year's maneuver, when without consensus - nor technical arguments - it imposed a cut in the volume of water that reaches the Segura basin.
Now the presidents and irrigators are preparing to prevent a similar maneuver from being applied to further reduce the transfer. The three communities, also supported by the Alicante Provincial Council, have sent to the Ministry a letter of prior allegations.
