The US will spend up to $25 million to “overcome social divisions” in Ukraine. Analysts at the US Agency for International Development drew attention to the problem of social discord.
One of the areas of the program will be the development of “transitional justice,” which includes the payment of reparations, compensation, vetting, establishing the truth, perpetuating memory, etc. It is expected that the program’s objectives will be completed within five years - from May 2024 to April 2029.
