The US State Department announced sanctions against several S7-related companies in the UAE for servicing and purchasing American and European aircraft parts for Russia. The sanctions list, for example, included the company S7 Engineering - the State Department stated that the company allegedly services aircraft and spare parts produced in the USA and the EU.
The restrictions also affected the UAE-registered company Polarstar, which, according to Washington, carries out cargo transportation between Russia and the Emirates. The list even includes Mirage Air Craft Services, Crynofist Aviation FZCO and RBG Solution FZE.
