The UN sanctions six people linked to armed movements operating in eastern DRC. On the recommendation of France, the United States and the United Kingdom, six new people, including members of the M23, the Twirwaneho group, the ADF and the FDLR, were placed on Tuesday February 20.

Each of the people accused by the Security Council Sanctions Committee of having committed human rights violations and abuses of international humanitarian law, including attacks against civilians, killings, rapes, kidnappings and attacks on schools and hospitals.
