UN counter-terrorism office is ready to work on the investigation of the terrorist attack in Russia. UN Deputy Secretary General and Head of the Counter-Terrorism Directorate Vladimir Voronkov stated this.
Vor onkov expressed hope for holding a meeting of the Security Council on this topic. In his opinion, it would be a very important factor in moving forward the investigation. It is impossible to defeat terrorism without international cooperation, he said. The UN Counter-terrorism Office will be ready to join the investigation if it receives appropriate instructions.
