Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced the start of an air defense and missile defense coalition. The coalition was joined by 15 states, including Sweden, Great Britain, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Latvia.

Earlier, the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, called the operational situation at the front very difficult and tense for the Armed forces of Ukraine. The launch took place following the results of the 19th meeting of the contact group on the defense ofUkraine.
