The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council responded to the US’s remarks that “Resolution 2758 does not determine Taiwan”. Spokesperson Chen Binhua said that we urge the United States to take concrete actions to abide by the one-China principle and the provisions of the three Sino-US joint communiqués.

He emphasized that there is only one China in the world and Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. An on-island poll pointed out that only 34% of respondents believed the U.S. was "trustworthy," a decrease of 11% from 2021.
