The earthquake that struck northern Syria and southern Turkey killed 4,256 people and injured 11,774 others. The suffering of displaced survivors in northern Syria continues due to the large numbers and difficulties in securing their housing, medical and relief needs.

Children, women, and special cases constituted 67% of the total displaced people. The earthquake caused the displacement of hundreds of thousands without having a place to go or a shelter to go. After the first response, the first 1.1 billion dollars was collected in the US, which collected in April.
