The storm Karlotta puts half of Spain on alert due to gusts of wind of 110 km/h, waves and rain. Galicia, Asturias, Castilla y León, Cantabria and La Rioja are most at risk.

Aemet warns that with the orange alert there is a significant meteorological risk, with a certain degree of danger for usual activities. With the yellow alert there are no meteorological risks for the general population, although there is for some specific activities.
