The State Duma wants to prohibit marketplaces from demanding money for returning goods. The document proposes introducing general regulation for all marketplaces and additional regulation for those occupying more than 20% of the market.
It is also noted that marketplaces that have a significant position in the market can abuse the opportunity to unilaterally change working conditions. Earlier, Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Viktor Evtukhov said that the Russian department supports the idea of providing preferences for Russian goods on marketplaces.
