Director of photography Hisham Sharbatji has died at the age of seventy-five. He died after suffering a stroke two years ago.
Friends and colleagues have paid tribute to him on social media. "Whoever gives nothing remains alive forever in the memory of the late director," one wrote. "The great director enriched the Syrian library with his distinguished works," another said. "He left us a great artistic legacy and lessons that everyone who had the privilege of working with him would know," a third said.
