The Russian Ministry of Defense showed a new video of the flight of Ukrainian Armed Forces units from Avdeevka. The footage published on the RT Telegram channel shows crowds of Ukrainian soldiers moving along the roads.
The second video shows the destruction of an infantry fighting vehicle of the Ukrainian army during an escape attempt. On February 17, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin about the capture of Avdeesk. The Russian Defense Ministry also emphasized that the liberation of AvDeesk by Russian troops made it possible to move the front line away from Donetsk.
