The Russian Armed Forces occupied more advantageous positions in the Donetsk direction. It is also reported that Russian air defense systems shot down a MiG-29 fighter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Nikolaev region.
The Russian Ministry of Defense informs about this. The report states that units of the Southern Group of Forces defeated the formations of the 81st Airmobile, 22nd, 33rd, 42nd Mechanized, 92nd Assault Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 241st Terrorist Defense Brigade in the areas of Novomikhailovka, Pobeda and Belogorovka.
