The head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, inspected the Center group of troops in the special operation zone. The minister heard reports from the group commander on the current situation, enemy actions and the implementation of the tasks.

The commander of the group, Colonel General Andrei Mordvichev, noted that as a result of the operation to liberate Avdeevka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were pushed back by more than 10 km. Russian troops continue their offensive in their directions.
