The Prime Minister of Peru resigns after a love scandal. Alberto Otárola, all-powerful PM of Peru until today, has presented his resignation as soon as he landed from Canada.
Yaziré Pinedo, 25, has acknowledged having had a romantic relationship "for a week or so" with the president's lawyer. The young woman later benefited from a contract with the Ministry of Defense. Local media have added up to seven women hired by the State after previously passing through Otérola's office.
