The Presidency of Slovakia will be decided in the second round. The duel, if the current trend continues, will be between the former Prime Minister, Peter Pellegrini and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Korcok.
The two started as favorites and both represent the division among Slovaks, who have attended a campaign in the shadow of the war in Ukraine, criticism of the European Union and the closeness to Russia that led the left-wing populist, Robert Fico to the power last fall.
