The Paris Stock Exchange ended down 0.56% on Tuesday, weighed down by banks. The flagship CAC 40 index fell 42.25 points to 7,351.61 points.

Societe Generale (-3.25% to 21.59 euros) and BNP Paribas (-2.38% to 57.73 euros) finished at the bottom of the index. The Orpéa group of retirement homes, whose share value has been massacred since January 2022, fell 16.98% to 2.41 euros.
