The Pakistani government held a farewell ceremony for the remains of Chinese citizens killed in the terrorist attack. Senior generals of the Pakistani army laid wreaths on behalf of President Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Sahir, Chief of Army Staff Munir, and Chief of Air Staff Babur.
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong and Pakistani Minister of Overseas Chinese Affairs Salik attended and delivered speeches. China hopes Pakistan will speed up case investigation, increase anti-terrorism efforts.
