The occupation prevents thousands of Christians from reaching Jerusalem on “Palm Sunday”. It prevents Christians from arriving in Jerusalem and thus commemorating their religious events.
Palm Sunday Mass was held in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher with the participation of a limited number of Christians due to Israeli measures. The commemoration of Palm Sunday was limited in Christian churches in Palestine to religious rituals without celebrations. Churches canceled all celebrations of the holidays in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
