Fahmiya Al-Khalidi, 82 years old, was arrested in early December in a school in Gaza. She took refuge after fleeing her home due to the bombing.

She was transferred to Dimon Prison in northern Israel, where she remained for nearly two months. The prison to which she was referred refused a request by a lawyer from the Israeli organization Physicians for Human Rights to meet her, and she was released two weeks ago. She remains in a hospital in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
