Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagray claimed that Hamas officials were working from within the Shifa complex against Israel. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that it holds the Israeli occupation responsible for the lives of medical staff, patients and displaced persons inside the medical complex. It also called on international institutions to protect it and protect everyone inside it and prevent targeting.
