The Niger-Benin pipeline officially commissioned. Oil can now enter the pipeline to be transported to the terminal station installed in Benin.

Estimates still remain at a production of 90,000 barrels per day. Benin will receive significant transit fees and tax revenues depending on the quantity exported. The experts give themselves a deadline of 60 days, either the end of April or the beginning of May. On occasion, an official ceremony could be organized. The pipeline crosses more than a thousand kilometers in Niger and nearly 700 in Benine.
