On Monday, the Israeli army launched air and artillery bombardments on the central and southern Gaza Strip. The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli attacks left 32 martyrs and 47 injured within 24 hours.
In terms of negotiations, sources told Al Jazeera that the mediators presented a new proposal in the last round of negotiations in Cairo for a three-stage ceasefire. The proposal included Israel's release of 900 Palestinian prisoners, including 100 with life sentences in the first stage, in exchange for the release of 40 living Israeli prisoners of all categories.
