The Ministry of Water Resources guides and supports Yunnan Province in fully carrying out drought relief work. Currently, there are no interruptions in water supply and no large-scale unsafe drinking water problems in the province.
A total of 580 wells were drilled to make reasonable and efficient use of groundwater resources. 277 mountain spring water diversion projects have been implemented to make good use of mountain water by means of storage, diversion and lifting according to local conditions. An initiative letter was issued on the media platform calling on the whole society to save water, love water and cherish water.
