The Russian Ministry of Health has proposed expanding the list of conditions for which first aid is provided. It is planned to allow the provision of first aid without the consent of the victim, parents or legal representative.
In January, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, ordered that officials and public sector employees be trained in first aid. Russian President Vladimir Putin previously visited a special exhibition of the Future Technologies Forum, where he was presented with advanced medical technologies and developments.
