The Ministry of Emergency Management has upgraded the emergency response to low-temperature rain, snow and freezing disasters in Hunan to Level 3. 20,000 pieces of central disaster relief materials such as cotton coats and quilts were allocated to Guizhou to support the disaster relief work for the affected people.
Disaster reduction committees and special command agencies at all levels should implement emergency response measures in advance based on meteorological warning information, strengthen joint rolling consultations and judgments, and improve information sharing and response linkage mechanisms.
