The Minister of Emergency Situations of the LPR died as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a bakery in Lisichansk. According to a representative of the Republic's Ministry of emergency Situations, Minister Alexey Poteleschenko was among the dead.

Ombudsman of the Lugansk People's Republic Victoria Serdyukova said that she would send information about the shelling to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross. The impact killed 28 people, including a child.
