Alabama Senator Katie Britt has been under fire since she spoke in response to Joe Biden's State of the Union address. In a video published Thursday March 7, the elected Republican spoke in an immaculate kitchen to respond to the American president's remarks made in the congressional chamber.
In her video, the senator had in fact mentioned an interview with a woman "delivered into forced prostitution by the cartels at the age of 12", giving sordid details. American media quickly established that this story had happened in Mexico twenty years ago, and not in the United States under the mandate of Joe Biden.
