The head of the Latvian Ministry of Justice, Inesa Libiņa-Egnere, threatened with criminal liability for participating in voting in the Russian presidential elections in Russian embassies. “Voting at the Russian Embassy is support for military operations in Ukraine,” Baltija quotes her as saying.
The Dutch authorities reacted positively to the plans of the Russian embassy to organize a polling station in The Hague for the election of Russian president. The Latvians will prepare a note of protest together with colleagues from Estonia.
