Vladimir Putin ordered the appointment of his official representative when parliament considers the denunciation of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe. It follows from the document that the representative of the head of state will be Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

According to experts, since 2007, when Moscow suspended its participation in the CFE Treaty, other countries have not ratified the agreement and have not proceeded to its implementation. Only four countries have ratified the adapted treaty: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
