Last Monday's attack on a World Central Kitchen (WCK) humanitarian convoy was due to an "error" in believing that two armed Hamas militiamen were traveling in it. Two commanders involved in the operation will be dismissed and two others reprimanded.

Israeli forces identified two "gunmen" in the aid trucks as the convoy headed to a warehouse in Deir al Balah, and when the vehicles left the site after unloading, "one of the commanders mistakenly assumed that "The gunmen were inside the vehicles that belonged to Hamas terrorists"
