The head of the mental health department in the Israeli army said that the army has been facing the biggest problem in mental health since 1973. This is against the backdrop of the war that the Palestinian resistance factions are waging in the Gaza Strip with the occupation army.

About 1,700 soldiers underwent psychological treatment, and that 85% of them returned to service. The Israeli army also revealed that about 30,000 soldiers have called its mental health hotline since the beginning of the Gaza war on October 7th.
