Some managers at the Flight School at Malmen outside Linköping are on sick leave due to work environment factors. One consequence of the problems with the working environment is that the introduction of the new SK 40 trainer aircraft is now suspended.
The head of the Air Combat School, Anna Siverstig, told the newspaper that parts of the training of fighter pilots will take place abroad. Parts of other pilot training courses are already being conducted outside Sweden. According to the officers' magazine, the workload has gradually increased over the past 15 years.
