Many of those detained at the farmers' protests in Warsaw were drunk, said the head of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs, Marcin Kerwiński. In total the police detained 55 people, and 26 especially aggressive ones after the end of the event.
Yesterday, Polish farmers held a large protest in the center of Warsaw against the import of Ukrainian agricultural products. As a result of the clashes, 14 police officers were injured, some of them are still in hospital, according to reports.
