[HIGHLIGHTS] The head of the NATO PA, Shcherba, called on the alliance to “mentally move on” to the time of military threat

The head of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Michal Szczerba, called on the alliance to make a “mental transition” from peacetime to a time of military threat. He also called on US authorities to be more active in Europe.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov previously stated that he does not know the plans of the North Atlantic Alliance. NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana expressed the opinion that NATO countries should prepare for several more years of tense relations with Russia.
