Emirates chief executive Tim Clark said he had witnessed a “progressive” decline in Boeing standards. Clark noted that Boeing currently has “the last chance” to correct the errors.
It will be the first time the airline will send its engineers to oversee the aircraft maker’s production lines. The US Civil Aviation Administration limited production of the Boeing 737 MAX. The WSJ also stated that a Boeing plane with a torn door could have taken off without the bolts.
