[HIGHLIGHTS] The Government launches the campaign appealing to the Constitutional Court an Ayuso law for limiting the right to euthanasia

The Government has approved an agreement, in the week in which the electoral campaign for the municipal and regional elections of 28-M begins, to file an appeal of unconstitutionality against the Law of the Community of Madrid 1/2023. The Executive takes this decision because, it understands, the Madrid regulation goes against the Organic Law of Regulation of Euthanasia.

"The PP and Vox try to impose themselves through the back door to the State and the Constitutional and limit the exercise to euthanasia," says the Executive.
