The Government accuses Pedro Sánchez of "overacting for electoral interests" with his appeal to the TC against the Parliament's initiative to declare independence. The Council of Ministers approved in its meeting this Tuesday to challenge before the Constitutional Court the admission for processing of an ILP presented by the extra-parliamentary party Solidaritat Catalana per la Independència.

"It seems that the Government has not learned anything from recent years," complained its spokesperson, Patrícia Plaja.
