More than 420 people have been killed in the fighting in Sudan, which has now lasted just over a week. A three-day ceasefire has been in place between the warring parties in Sudan.
There is a "high risk of biological danger" in Sudan's capital Khartoum after one of the parties took control of a laboratory with measles and cholera pathogens. The UN expects up to 270,000 Sudanese to flee Sudan to neighbouring Chad and South Sudan due to the conflict. But millions of Sudanese have no way of leaving the country.
