Bai Yutang said that with Macron's successful visit to China, the cooperation under the strategic dialogue and high-level people-to-people exchange mechanism is expected to start before this summer. He also answered questions from Chinese media on issues such as the joint promotion of world security and stability between France and China, Europe's strategic autonomy and support for multilateralism.
He pointed out that President Macron has visited China three times during his term of office, in addition to Beijing, he has visited Xi'an, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
