Tian Huiyu was sentenced to death for accepting bribes, abusing power by state-owned company personnel, trading on undisclosed information, insider trading, and leaking inside information. He was also sentenced to seven years in prison and fined RMB 300 million.
It was decided to execute the death penalty with a two-year suspended sentence and be deprived of political rights. Life, and all personal property shall be confiscated. All proceeds from the crime have been recovered and turned over to the state treasury.
