The first aid trucks arrive in northern Gaza, and the Gaza Strip police impose security measures. This step comes at a time when the northern Gaza Strip is suffering from a severe famine that has so far resulted in dozens of deaths, most of them children.

Earlier Saturday, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported that one Palestinian was killed and others were injured as a result of a stampede to obtain aid dropped by planes in Beit Lahia.
