The Federation Council protested over the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Western countries. The upper house of parliament emphasized that with the use of Western weapons, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are killing civilians and destroying civilian infrastructure.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the weapons that the West supplied to Ukraine were found not only in the Middle East, but also in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and the Gaza Strip. The Federation Council demanded an immediate stop to arms supplies to Kyiv.
