The family of the child, Hala Hamada, is preparing to receive her from an international organization that evacuated her from Hamad Town, north of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the injured Hala (14 years old) was rescued after spending more than 40 hours surrounded by Israeli tanks.
Hala said that her family were martyred as a result of the Israeli bombing, and that she was injured in her leg after one of the concrete columns fell on her. It is noteworthy that the girl Hala is the cousin of the martyr Hind Hamada.
