Tens of thousands of foreign volunteer soldiers have travelled to Ukraine to take part in the war against Russia. But many do not understand what the war means and quickly return home, according to Kacper Rekawek, who researched the foreign soldiers.

He believes that some of those who travelled to fight were not ready for what awaited them on the battlefield. But he does not believe that they will make much difference militarily, but they can create good PR for Ukraine.
