Former British Ambassador to Russia Anthony Brenton called for negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv. The diplomat noted that the dialogue will also lead to territorial redistribution, as a result of which the lands that do not want to remain under the control of Ukraine will remain part of Russia.
In Brenton's opinion, this would be a less painful decision than several more years of fighting. Earlier, American journalist Seymour Hersh said that the United States issued an ultimatum to Zelensky and prohibited negotiations with Russia.
