The European Union is considering taking steps against settlers in the West Bank. US President Joe Biden issued an executive order a few days ago aimed at punishing Jewish settlers who attack Palestinians.
12 European countries, Canada and Australia issued a statement last December condemning the violence of extremist settlers against Palestinians. According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation authorities and settlers carried out 1,593 attacks on Palestinians. The violations were concentrated in Hebron Governorate, followed by occupied Jerusalem and Nablus Governorate.
