The European Union has introduced restrictions on the supply of parts for drones to Russia. The restrictions are aimed at "restricting Russia's access" to components for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The new package of sanctions also includes 27 organizations, including enterprises from India, Sri Lanka, China, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Turkey. It is noted that the new restrictions expand the list of prohibited goods that could contribute to the development of the Russian military-industrial complex. “Including parts for the development and production of UAVs,” the release said.
